The dumb phones lasted me about 7 years but needed a new battery after about 4. It was easy to replace. Did the occasional txt or call. Didn't use it much. The battery lasted about 5 days. The smart phone battery lasts about 2 days and has a steeper learning curve to figure out how to use it but it's not bad.The Nokia 225 4G also has a pretty decent music player.
