The pinch detect wiring goes through the dfi board. If cleaning and bypassing the pinch wiring doesn't work then their is a fault in the dfi board. I just had to do that on one of mine to clear the pinch fault. Just make sure when putting back together you get the plugs on the main board locked in place.
