He has served as the founding director of the National Museum of the American Latino since May 2022. Zamanillo was the chief executive officer of HistoryMiami from 2016 to 2022.In 2022, the National Museum of the American Latino will open and operate the Molina Family Latino Gallery at the National Museum of American History.
