I grabbed a tube from my local Toyota dealership and wanted to ask (to those of you who might know) if this is an old tube or new? The expiration date of 10/2024 seems kinda soon.. If your only using rtv apply it to the pan, wait at least 15-20 min then start bolting down, then wait another 15-20 min before tightening it down good. By the time you have everything buttoned back up you should be good to pour oil in it.Thread starter. #3. The FIPG they sell you at the dealer is 00295-00103 and yes, it is about $12 a tube. It is spec'd for the oil pan. The FSM calls for a different FIPG that is for use with coolants...08826-00100, and it is $70 a tube.
