Because then, you can just do a blood rush build to gain more crit to activate ... IIRC dual daggers have better stance mods than machetes (Kama is a machete). Ether daggers seems to have better stats, 30% status is pretty nice, but it's much slower than Kama. I'd say build and rank all of them up to 30, but stick with Ether Daggers. Mobile Defence excellent if you don't want to be stuck in a level for a long time.
