Although a 2.5 with the same upgrades would be making 210hp.The timing belt lasts 100k, the valve cover gaskets seem to last 12-15 years. In the Miata, the water pump seems to last around 75k. The biggest rust issue on the wrx is going to be the rear strut towers. This means that I'd like to send it to the shop for engine issues as little as possible. Of course, you need the yearly inspection, but I'd like for them to find as few issues with the engine and transmission as possible.
