DnD, Cajon Pass is one of my favorite hiking areas. The Pacific Crest Trail crosses I-15 there. The San Andreas Fault cuts through there and you hike through these badlands where old alluvial fans have been cut off from their source by movement along the fault. The railroads use the pass, and Sullivan's Curve is there.
